Full Version: Newbie question: how to trade traffic ?
everything in the title: got a tutorial on how to exchange traffic?

Traffic trading is as much art as it is science. If you have a source of feeder traffic, something to prime the pump, you can build a site up to a couple thousand a day within a week or so. You have to send traffic to get traffic back, even on a non-skim tgp. The key to getting quality traffic back is sending enough quality traffic to trade partners to rank well in the trade partners top referrer lists.
The late jayeff was a traffic trade guru. There was a thread on Comus forums from 2004 where he gave some real gems of advice. Unfortunately, he's no longer with us, and neither is Comus Forum. However, I have that thread saved on my hard drive for my own reference. I go back and read it as a refersher once or twice a year. Each time I read it I gleen something new from it.
It may be a little beyond you at this point, I know it was beyond me the first time I read it, but if you'd like I can zip it into a file and make it available.

yep its all about atting the toplist and getting as close to the top. the closer to the top you get the better traffic you get back its simple as that
