I've noticed that while a lot of people make very nice galleries template wise (or buy them, whatever) a lot of them can't cut a thumb to save their life.

Up to this point I've just been approving them, but I'm beginning to seriously consider re-cutting peoples thumbs if I feel they're crap.

Anyone else do this? Is it considered acceptable?
Thoughts? Ideas? Thanks

It's ok for me if someone edit my thumbs for a better result, but some lazy ass will let you do (and you can be sure that the quality will decrease)

So you want to cut peoples thumbs off because they make crappy gallery submissions...

I guess you could just use a slap chop..

I'm with ya. I don't delete any of my submitters gals but I surely am not taking the time to remake thumbs. Like Famous said, crap thumbs means less traffic. I just make sure the thumbs I make from hosted are nice ones.

Fortunately, as 50% of the people only seem to submit to the archives and forget about submitting to index (don't ask me why) it's not that big a deal, was just curious what others thought

hehe.. im happy for people to delete thumbs of mine they dont like.. i cant complain as im a nazi when it comes to approving thumbs

using thumbs with dimentions like 130x170 or 160x200 or 183x243 is a direct way to recrop everything you get from submitters

I'm just the opposite. I'd like to think I can make velly pretty thumbs most of the time. But a third grader with a broken crayon could design a better template than me.

are also good to get correct babe name from submitters.
use odd sized thumbs or names with a couple of useful chars and you will get job for your hands, always!

some people like to submit to the "other" category even if the girl is listed.
Since i added some checkboxes to my directory i can tell that 40-50% of my submitters submit to my directory in automatic mode.

(off topic but i suppose that some submitters are able to handle several submissions in the same tim, do you know which ones ?)

you can do everything you want but if you use 123x89 sized thumbs or
categories "dot space comma Aaliyah Love" you must be ready to do addtitional job with submitters galleries

I won't argue with that. My pretty thumbs aint getting any respect click wise. But those oooogly ass orange galleries are still paying the rent. (barely)
