Lately I've been going into the mainstream area, making social sites here in Denmark with 3 other guys, doing some mailing (we have sites where peope can sign up for a newsletter etc so we get their email with permission to send out offers etc)... Anyway, we sent out a mail where people could buy ecological fruit baskets...

Over 3 days we got (from that mail alone)
181 unique clicks.... 24 sales... Totalling at 2400 DKR ($480 USD)....$2,6 per click...

Since that I was like.... Hey, lets give it a shot, so now I'm making lots of community sites, it's fun too... Always fun to try something new... Anybody else doing anything mainstream (local or international)?
